WWE Ice Cream Makes A Comeback, Nostalgia Ensues

If you remember flagging down the ice cream man and copping a Stone Cold Steve Austin ice cream bar, you had an awesome childhood.

Sadly, a lot of kids these days didn't have that same pleasure, as the WWE bars went M.I.A. in 2009. Thankfully Good Humor is bringing back the fan favorite ice cream.

While the original "WWF Superstar" bars were essentially ice cream sandwiches on a stick, the new versions reduces the waste, simply making them ice cream sandwiches, outright.

That's right, no more stick so you're probably going to get that soft cookie coating on your fingers.

Just off the visuals, there is another striking change, as the originals had a chocolate coating on one side, and these look like they simply have the classic cookie crisp on both sides.

That's already not sitting well with fans, as there's an immediate one star review on the Good Humor web site pointing out the changes. Redditors are also not loving the changes, saying "... ice cream sandwiches isn't what I grew up on. Bring back the ice cream bars!!!!" and asking "No chocolate back?"

As far as the wrestlers that will actually be printed on the ice cream, Roman Reigns, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, John Cena and Becky Lynch will be the first superstars featured on the sandwich.

Good Humor said these will be officially launching in April 2020, which coincides with WWE's biggest show of the year, Wrestlemania.
