Maison Solís, founded by wine and spirits industry expert Joseph D. Solís, has just announced the debut of the world's first agave-inspired niche fragrance line. This collection pays homage to Solís' connection to agave, his Mexican Chicano roots and 25 years in the tequila space.

Inspired by the cultural significance of agave and its transformative journey into tequila, each fragrance in the collection (Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo) features the essence of these distinct expressions. Solís collaborated closely with a fragrance consultant, Ethan Turner, an African-American sommelier turned perfumer, to craft each scent, deconstructing tequilas to craft combinations inspired by the tasting notes found in each expression. Each fragrance bottle is designed to reflect the essence of its tequila counterpart.

"Agave is more than a plant; it's ancestral and sacred, deeply rooted in my heritage and my passions," says Joseph D. Solís, Founder and CEO of Maison Solís and SOL Hospitality Group. "With over 25 years in the luxury wine & spirits space inclusive of agave, I developed this fragrance line to honor the nectar of the Gods and evoke the emotional journey it takes us on — from the crisp citrus notes of Blanco to the luxurious depths of aged Añejo."

After working in the wine & spirits for over two decades, Solís created Maison Solís to fuel his passion for luxury, cocktail curation and the art of at-home entertaining.

For Solis, scent has always been an inspiration. “As a child, with humble beginnings, fragrance always served as an escape for me. I remember working as a teenager and saving up my money to buy department store fragrances; one spray would transport me to another place.  Fragrance was fantasy, aspiration and hope,” continues Solís.

Maison Solís Fragrance just made its global debut at Tales of the Cocktail, the world’s largest cocktail conference, in New Orleans.

Blanco by Maison Solís Eau de Parfum is available for $110. Reposado by Maison Solís Eau de Parfum is available for $120 and Añejo by Maison Solís Eau de Parfum is available for $140. You can also sample each fragrance via a 5 ml via its Discovery Set for $60.
