Your favorite classic American casual diner chain, Denny's, is adapting to the modern world and now finally has its very own drive-thru. Did you ever think we'd see the day this dream comes true?

Residents of Kerman, California were treated to the news this week when the first-ever Denny's drive-thru popped up in their town.

Fans of Denny's lined up in their cars around the building to place their orders, being the first to order classic Denny's favorites like the Grand Slam, Choconana Pancakes, and more.

Curious about the reasoning behind Denny's decision to establish itself in the quaint town of Kerman? Evidently, the restaurant finds success in such locations. Franchisee Sahill Sagar explained, "Despite being a small community, that's where Denny's truly excels. This is where we can genuinely make a positive impact on the local community."

According to reports, the initial customer made an appearance at 9 a.m. on Sunday, November 12, and went to the extent of having friends and family take turns camping out. Clearly, they were determined not to share their Grand Slam with anyone else.

Looks like we will just have to wait a little longer before Denny's drive-thrus rollout across the nation. It's all up to Kerman and how well the test runs there. The Denny's restaurant in Kerman is open 24 hours a day and is located at Whitesbridge Road and Goldenrod Avenue.
